How much deposit you need will depend on your individual circumstances. You may also be able to use the right to buy discount given and in many cases this be sufficient.
Can you get a mortgage with a CCJ?
Yes you may be able to
A County Court Judgement can have an impact on the mortgage options available. it doesn't mean it's the end of the road for your mortgage chances though. It will depend on how long ago the CCJ was registered and if it has been settled or not. The longer ago this was registered the better usually, with it being settled also helping your chances greatly.

You are currently eligible to apply if: it’s your only or main home it’s self-contained you’re a secure tenant you’ve had a public sector landlord (for example, a council, housing association or NHS trust) for 3 years - it does not have to be 3 years in a row
